From the main town of Salelologa, head east along the main road (Main Road) toward the village of Palauli. Continue walking for about 7 kilometers. Along the way, you will pass several local shops and small villages. After reaching Palauli, watch for the signs that indicate the Pulemelei Ancient Mound. The mound is located just off the main road at the coordinates 7M7G+W65. You may need to ask local residents for directions if you have trouble finding it.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Salelologa. Cycle east on the Main Road towards Palauli. The ride is approximately 7 kilometers and should take around 30-40 minutes, depending on your speed. As you approach Palauli, keep an eye out for signs leading to Pulemelei Ancient Mound. The site will be visible from the road, and you can park your bicycle nearby.

Catch a local bus from Salelologa heading towards Palauli. Buses depart regularly throughout the day. Inform the driver you want to be dropped off near Pulemelei Ancient Mound. The bus ride takes about 15-20 minutes. After being dropped off, walk back a short distance toward the main road. Look for signs indicating the mound, which is just a short walk away.
