Walking
If you are in the town of Salelologa, start by heading towards the main road (Main Road, also known as the 'Savai'i Ring Road'). Walk east along the main road until you reach the junction for the road leading to Puleia. This is approximately a 10-15 minute walk. Once you reach the junction, follow the signs for Puleia, which will lead you onto a smaller, more rural road. Continue walking for about 30 minutes, passing through small villages and enjoying the lush scenery. You will eventually see a sign for Mu Pagoa Waterfall on your left. From there, take the indicated path leading down to the waterfall, which takes approximately 15 minutes.
Bicycle
From Salelologa, rent a bicycle and head towards the Savai'i Ring Road. Cycle east along this road, which is relatively flat and picturesque, for about 3 km until you reach the junction for Puleia. Turn left onto the road leading towards Puleia, and continue cycling for another 6 km. Look for the sign for Mu Pagoa Waterfall, where you will need to secure your bicycle and walk down the path to the waterfall, approximately 15 minutes from the sign.
Local Bus
From Salelologa, board a local bus heading towards the village of Puleia. Buses typically leave every hour. Inform the driver that you want to stop at the Mu Pagoa Waterfall. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Puleia, walk along the road until you see a sign for Mu Pagoa Waterfall. Follow the path indicated on the sign for about 15 minutes to reach the waterfall.
