San Marino is an absolute must when visiting Bologna. A beautiful micro state with so much history. Beautiful old town. A bit steep to climb up to towers but worth the view.

Special place, unique. ...
A special, unique place. The area where the sanctuary is also very beautiful. I suggest staying at least 2h on site. Note that it is usually cooler there because it is on the top of the mountain.

A beautiful cultural day in Verucchio
Really nice experience! the guide was very prepared and communicated great passion for history. The castle of Verucchio is charming and unique, with an incredible view of the hinterland from the rooftop terrace and very suggestive medieval settings. The archaeological museum is really interesting and full of curiosities
