Getting There

    From the central square of Angolares, head towards the main road leading to São Tomé city. Keep walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the Avenida Marginal 12 Julho. Once you arrive at the Avenida, turn left and continue walking for approximately 20 minutes. You will pass by various local shops and cafes. The Forte de São Sebastião will be on your right side, just before the entrance to the harbor. Look for the large stone structure; that is your destination.

    Start from the main square in Angolares. Look for the local minibus or shared taxi heading to São Tomé city. The fare is usually affordable. Once you board, ask the driver to drop you off at the Avenida Marginal 12 Julho. The journey should take around 30 minutes. When you get off, walk towards the coast for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Forte de São Sebastião on your left.
