From Monte Café, head towards the main road (EN1) connecting to the northern part of the island. Drive northeast for approximately 15 kilometers, following the signs to Obo National Park. Once you reach Monte Carmo, look for the coordinates 5GVX+C46 on your GPS or map app. The entrance to Obo National Park is well-marked, and you should find ample parking available.

Start at Monte Café and catch a local bus or shared taxi heading towards the city of São Tomé. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Monte Carmo, which is the closest stop to Obo National Park. The fare is usually around 3,000 Dobra. Once you arrive in Monte Carmo, you can either walk to the park entrance, which is approximately a 20-minute walk, or take a taxi (approx. 10,000 Dobra) for convenience.
