From the center of São Tomé City, head southwest towards Avenida 12 de Julho. Walk along this avenue until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rua 2 de Setembro. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with Rua da Liberdade. Turn right onto Rua da Liberdade and keep walking until you reach the bus terminal (Terminal Rodoviário de São Tomé).

At the Terminal Rodoviário de São Tomé, look for a bus heading towards Monte Carmo. Buses typically leave frequently, but it's advisable to check the schedule. The trip to Monte Carmo takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Obo National Park. Keep an eye out for the mountain as a landmark.

Once you arrive in Monte Carmo, ask locals for directions to Obo National Park. It is located near the coordinates 5GVX+C46. Walk towards the park entrance, which is well-marked. The entrance is about a 10-15 minute walk from where the bus drops you off.
