Getting There

• Walking

  Start your journey at the Abha City Center (also known as Al-Mashaaer). From the center, head southeast on King Abdul Aziz Road. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Abha Dam. The walk should take around 20-25 minutes. Once you arrive at the dam, you will see signs directing you to the Abha Lake Viewpoint. Follow the pathway along the lake, which is well-marked with signs. The viewpoint will be approximately a 500-meter walk from the dam, offering stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

• Public Transport

  From Abha City Center, you can take a local bus heading towards the Abha Dam area. Look for buses that are marked with 'Abha Dam' or ask locals for assistance. The bus ride should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Abha Dam stop, disembark and follow the same walking directions as mentioned above to reach the Abha Lake Viewpoint. The viewpoint is about a 500-meter walk from the dam.

• Taxi/ride-hailing service

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider using a local taxi or a ride-hailing service (like Uber or Careem) from your location in Abha. Simply input 'Abha Lake Viewpoint' or provide the address '6F6P+5WC سد أبها, King Abdul Aziz Rd, Abha Al Jadidah' to the driver. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, the viewpoint is accessible on foot from the drop-off point.
