If you are starting from Al Ula's city center, head towards the Al Ula Heritage Area. Walk along the main street (Prince Sultan Road) heading northwest for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Al Ula's main market area. Continue straight past the market and follow the signs towards Dadan. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will start to see signs indicating 'Dadan Heritage Trail'. Take a left turn onto the dirt path leading up to the trailhead. The trailhead is marked and visible, approximately 500 meters along this path.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Al Ula. Start at the city center and ride along Prince Sultan Road heading northwest. Follow the same route as for walking, covering about 3.5 kilometers until you reach the market area. From there, continue straight and follow the signs to Dadan. The final stretch to the trailhead is about 500 meters on a dirt path. Make sure to park your bicycle securely at the trailhead before starting your hike.
