Getting There

  • Walking

    Assuming you are starting from the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-Haram), exit the mosque and head towards the east on King Abdul Aziz Road. Continue walking on this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Al-Masjid Al-Haram Road. From there, turn left onto Al-Masjid Al-Haram Road and walk straight for approximately 500 meters. You will see signs directing you towards جبل اسماعیل. Follow the signs and continue walking until you reach the base of the mountain, which is located at coordinates 21.4235148, 39.8381696.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    From the Grand Mosque, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the entrance of the mosque. Take a bus heading towards Shib Amir. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the Shib Amir stop. Once you disembark, walk towards the mountain following the signs for جبل اسماعیل, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
