Walking
Start from the Prophet's Mosque (Al-Masjid an-Nabawi), which is a central point in Medina. Exit the mosque and head east towards the Al-Masjid an-Nabawi's outer courtyard. After exiting, proceed straight on King Abdulaziz Road. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Al-Masjid al-Nabawi Street. Turn right onto Al-Masjid al-Nabawi Street and walk for about 500 meters. You will see the sign for Al Khatim district. Continue straight on this road for another 800 meters, and you will find حصن بني واقف on your right, marked by clear signage.

Public Transport
From the Prophet's Mosque, walk to the nearest bus stop located on King Abdulaziz Road. Board a local bus heading towards Al Khatim. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Inform the driver that you are heading to حصن بني واقف. Once you arrive at the Al Khatim stop, disembark and walk back towards the main road for about 200 meters. The fort will be visible on your left.

Taxi (or Ride-Sharing)
While you are in the vicinity of the Prophet's Mosque, you can find taxis or use a ride-sharing app. Simply input 'حصن بني واقف' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the fort, which is approximately 3 kilometers away. The journey should take around 10 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
