If you are starting from the Al-Masmak Fortress, head east on Al-Masmak Street towards King Faisal Road. From the King Abdulaziz Historical Center, exit the center and head south on Prince Faisal bin Fahd Road. Walk straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with King Faisal Road. Turn right onto King Faisal Road and continue for another 300 meters. A'Thumairi Gate will be on your right side, right at the intersection of King Faisal Road and Ad Dirah Street.
