If you are driving, head towards the Hann Bel-Air area in Dakar. From the center of Dakar, take Avenue Moussa Tavele and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Université. Turn right onto Rue de l'Université and continue until you reach Avenue Cheikh Anta Diop. Turn left, and after a few blocks, you will find the entrance to Hann Zoological Park on your right. Parking is available near the entrance. Expect to pay a small parking fee.

To reach Hann Zoological Park by public transportation, start by taking a taxi or a bus from your location in Dakar to the main bus station (Gare Routière). From there, take a local bus (often referred to as a 'car rapide') heading towards the Hann Bel-Air area. Ask the driver to drop you off near the zoo. The journey should take about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you get off the bus, it’s a short walk to the entrance of the park.
