Walking
If you are in the Dakar-Plateau area, head towards Avenue Moussa Tavele. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue Cheikh Anta Diop. Turn left onto Avenue Cheikh Anta Diop and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will see Marché Sandaga on your right-hand side.
Bus
Find a nearby bus stop and take any bus heading towards 'Sandaga.' The bus will drop you off at the Sandaga stop. From there, it's a short walk to the market entrance. The Marché Sandaga is situated just a few steps away from the bus stop.
Taxi-Bike (Jakarta)
Locate a Jakarta taxi-bike (a popular mode of transport). Tell the driver you want to go to Marché Sandaga. They will navigate through the streets for you. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
Walking from the ferry terminal
If you are arriving from the ferry terminal, exit the terminal and head towards the main road, Rue de la République. Walk along Rue de la République for about 15-20 minutes until you reach Avenue Cheikh Anta Diop. Turn right, and continue walking for another 5 minutes. Marché Sandaga will be on your left.
