From downtown Dakar, head to the 'Gare Routière' (Bus Station) located at Rue de l'Université. Take a bus heading towards Ouakam. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to the African Renaissance Monument, which is usually announced by the driver. From there, walk about 10 minutes uphill to reach the monument.
