From the heart of Plateau, start at Place de l'Indépendance. Head southeast on Avenue Moussa Tavele toward Avenue Habib Bourguiba. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue Lamine Gueye. Turn left onto Avenue Lamine Gueye and walk for about 10 minutes, passing local shops and cafes along the way. You will eventually reach the coast. As you approach the waterfront, you may notice the beautiful views of the ocean.
Taxi (Bike)
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a bike taxi (known locally as 'Jakarta'). From your location in Plateau, find a spot where bike taxis usually wait, like near the local markets. Negotiate the fare (generally around 500-1000 CFA depending on the distance). Ask the driver to take you to Corniche Ouest, and they will know the way. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes.
