Getting There

• Car

  From the center of Fatick, start by heading northwest on Boulevard de la Republique towards Route de Nganda. Continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Route Nationale 1. Turn right onto Route Nationale 1 and follow this road for approximately 40 kilometers towards Dakar. Once you reach the outskirts of Dakar, take the exit towards Hann Bel-Air. Continue straight until you see signs for Hann Zoological Park, which will be on your right. Parking is available near the entrance.

• Public Transportation (Taxi)

  From Fatick, you can take a taxi to Dakar. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost around 10,000 to 15,000 CFA francs (approximately $15-$25). Once in Dakar, ask the driver to drop you off at Hann Bel-Air or at the entrance of Hann Zoological Park. If you're dropped off further away, you can take a local taxi or a motorcycle taxi to cover the final stretch.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  From Fatick, board a bus heading to Dakar. The fare is generally around 2,000 CFA francs (about $3). Upon arrival at the Dakar bus station, you can take a taxi or a local bus to Hann Zoological Park. If you take a local bus, look for ones heading to Hann Bel-Air and ask the conductor to let you know when to get off. The park is a short walk from the bus stop.
