Car
If you're driving from the center of Saint-Louis, head southwest on Avenue Faidherbe towards Quai Henni Jay. Continue on Avenue Faidherbe for about 1.2 kilometers. When you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Quai Henni Jay. The CRDS will be on your right-hand side after approximately 500 meters. There is limited parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach CRDS using public transport, take a local bus or taxi from downtown Saint-Louis. Look for buses heading towards the Ile de N'Dar. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Quai Henni Jay. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you get off, walk along Quai Henni Jay for about 300 meters, and you will find CRDS on your left. Fares for local buses are usually around 150 CFA francs.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Quai Henni Jay, you can easily walk to CRDS. From the nearest landmark, such as the local market, head southwest towards Quai Henni Jay. It’s a straightforward path of about 1 kilometer along the waterfront which should take around 15 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views as you walk along the quay.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, renting a bike in Saint-Louis is an excellent way to enjoy the surroundings. From the city center, follow Avenue Faidherbe and then take Quai Henni Jay. The distance is about 1.5 kilometers and should take you around 10 minutes to reach CRDS by bike. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.
