If you are starting from the central area of Belgrade, head to the nearest tram station. You can take tram line 2 or 6. Board the tram and ride towards 'Kalemegdan'. Get off at 'Kalemegdan' station (about 15 minutes ride). Once you exit the tram, walk towards the Kalemegdan Park entrance, which is well-signposted. After entering the park, follow the paths leading down towards the river. Barutana is located near the entrance of the Belgrade Fortress, and should be visible from the park paths.

If you are already in Stari Grad, simply walk towards the Kalemegdan Park. From the Republic Square, head towards the pedestrian street, Knez Mihailova, and walk straight until you reach the park entrance. Once inside Kalemegdan, follow the signs to the Belgrade Fortress. Barutana will be nearby, and you can enjoy the views of the Sava and Danube rivers along the way.
