Walking
If you are starting from the city center, head towards the pedestrian street Knez Mihailova. Walk down this vibrant street, filled with shops and cafes, until you reach the end near the Kalemegdan Park entrance. From there, you can enter Kalemegdan Park and continue walking towards the Belgrade Fortress. The Royal Gate is located at the entrance to the fortress, marked by its impressive archway. Follow the path through the park, and you will see the Royal Gate ahead of you.
Public Transport (Tram)
From the main square (Trg Republike), take Tram Line 2 or 5. Ride the tram until you reach the 'Kalemegdan' stop. Once you exit the tram, proceed towards the Kalemegdan Park entrance. Walk through the park towards the Belgrade Fortress, and you will find the Royal Gate at the fortress entrance.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the city center, you can also take Bus Line 24 from the 'Trg Republike' bus stop. Get off at the 'Kalemegdan' stop. After disembarking, walk towards Kalemegdan Park and follow the path leading to the Belgrade Fortress. The Royal Gate will be located at the entrance of the fortress.
