Getting There

Parking is available near the entrance, but be aware that a small parking fee may apply.

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from the nearest major town (e.g., Kladovo or Negotin) to Donji Milanovac. Once you arrive in Donji Milanovac, you can either walk to Lepenski vir, which is about 3 km from the bus station, or take a local taxi for a more convenient option. Taxi fares can vary, but expect to pay around 300-500 RSD for the short ride.

• Walking from Donji Milanovac

  If you choose to walk from Donji Milanovac to Lepenski vir, head east along the main road (Boljetin bb). The scenic route takes you along the banks of the Danube River, and it should take approximately 30-45 minutes to reach the archaeological site on foot. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated as this is a popular walking path with beautiful views.

The ride will typically take about 10-15 minutes from Donji Milanovac, and the fare should be around 500 RSD, depending on the exact location.
