Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from any central location in Mačva. Head towards the town of Šabac and take the road towards Ruma. After approximately 30 km, you will reach the outskirts of Ruma. From Ruma, follow signs for Fruska Gora National Park. Continue on the road, and you will see signs directing you to Krušedol Monastery. The monastery is located at 313, 22328, near the village of Krušedol. Parking is available near the entrance.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Šabac to Ruma. Buses run regularly throughout the day, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Ruma, you can catch a local bus or taxi to Krušedol Monastery. The local bus may not run very frequently, so it's a good idea to check the schedule ahead of time. If you opt for a taxi, it will take approximately 15 minutes from Ruma to the monastery, with a cost around 500 RSD.
Bike
For the more adventurous, biking to Krušedol Monastery is a wonderful option. Start in Ruma and follow the scenic routes through Fruska Gora National Park. The ride is approximately 12 km from Ruma to the monastery, and the paths are well-maintained. Make sure to bring water and snacks, as there are limited facilities along the way.
Walking
If you are staying nearby, you can also walk to the Krušedol Monastery. Starting from the village of Krušedol, it is a pleasant hike of about 3 km through the beautiful landscapes of Fruska Gora. The path is clearly marked, and you will enjoy the serene natural surroundings.
