Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving to Pustinja Monastery from central Podrinje, start by heading southeast on the main road (Route 22). Follow the signs toward Vujinovača. After approximately 15 kilometers, you will reach the outskirts of Vujinovača. Continue straight for another 5 kilometers until you see signs for Pustinja Monastery. The monastery is located on a small hill and is visible from the road. There is a parking area available near the entrance.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Pustinja Monastery using public transport, first take a local bus from Podrinje to Vujinovača. Check the local bus schedule for the most accurate timings; buses generally run every hour. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Vujinovača bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers toward the monastery. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions. The route is mostly straightforward, leading you directly to the entrance of Pustinja Monastery.

• Walking

  If you are already in Vujinovača and prefer to walk, start from the center of the village. Head southeast on the main road, and then take a left turn when you see the sign for Pustinja Monastery. It is about a 20-minute walk (1.5 kilometers) from the village center. The route is scenic, and you will enjoy the surrounding nature as you approach the monastery.
