Getting There

Public Bus

From Smederevo city center, head to the main bus station located at Trg Oslobođenja. Look for buses heading to Belgrade. You can buy a ticket from the ticket counter or the bus driver. The journey will take about an hour. Once you arrive at the Belgrade bus station (Buvljak), use Google Maps to locate the nearest bus stop for line 23, which will take you to Ada Ciganlija.
Train

Go to the Smederevo train station, located near the city center. Purchase a ticket for a train to Belgrade. Trains run frequently, and the trip takes around 50 minutes. Once in Belgrade, exit the train station and take tram line 2 or 11 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Savski Trg' stop and transfer to bus line 23, which will take you directly to Ada Ciganlija.
Walking

If you find yourself near the Danube River in Smederevo, you can take a scenic walk towards the riverbank, following the pathway along the river. This route is approximately 5 kilometers long and leads directly to the ferry port. Once you reach the ferry port, take a ferry across the river to the opposite bank, then walk towards the main road that leads to Belgrade. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Ada Ciganlija.
Bicycle Rental

Bicycle rentals are available in Smederevo. Rent a bike and head towards the Danube River. Follow the riverside path which will take you along beautiful scenery. Continue cycling until you reach the ferry terminal. Take the ferry to cross the river, then follow the signs towards Belgrade. This route will lead you directly to Ada Ciganlija, a popular spot for cyclists.
