Getting There

  • Bus

    From Smederevo, head to the bus station located at Đure Jakšića Street. Purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Belgrade. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Belgrade bus station, exit the terminal and head towards the main road (Bulevar despota Stefana).

  • Tram

    After reaching the Belgrade bus station, walk to the nearest tram stop located on Bulevar despota Stefana. Take tram line 2 towards 'Kalemegdan'. Ride the tram for about 15 minutes until you reach the 'Trg Republike' stop. From there, Republic Square is just a short walk away.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk after arriving in Belgrade, exit the bus station, turn left onto Bulevar despota Stefana, and walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Knez Mihailova Street. Turn right onto Knez Mihailova Street, which will lead you directly to Republic Square in about 10-15 minutes.
