Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the center of Subotica, head towards the main square (Trg Slobode) and exit towards the east on Kossuth Lajos utca. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Vojvode Stepe Street. Turn left onto Vojvode Stepe and walk for about 500 meters until you see a bus stop. From there, you can take Bus 61 towards Palić, which will take you directly to the Palić area.

• Public Transport

  From the main bus station in Subotica, take Bus 61 towards Palić. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the Palić stop, which is near the lake. Once you disembark, walk towards the lake and follow the path along the water until you reach the beautiful park area where the Meteorology measuring column is located.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from the center of Subotica to Palić. Head east on Kossuth Lajos utca, then take a left onto Vojvode Stepe Street. Follow this road until you reach the Palić area. The distance is approximately 8 km, and it takes around 30-40 minutes to cycle. Enjoy the scenic route along the way, and once you arrive, look for the measuring column in the park area near the lake.
