From Zaječar, head south on the main road (Route 34) towards the town of Boljevac. After approximately 15 kilometers, take the exit towards Rtanj. Continue on the local road for about 8 kilometers until you reach the base of Rtanj mountain. There are parking areas available for visitors at the foot of the mountain. Note that there may be a parking fee of around 200 RSD.

From Zaječar, take a bus from the main bus station to Boljevac. Buses typically depart every hour. The journey will take about 30 minutes.
