Getting There

• Car Rental

  To reach Katiolo from any part of Denis Island, first, you need to take a ferry from Denis Island to Mahé Island. The ferry ride usually takes about 1 hour and you should book your tickets in advance to ensure availability. Once you arrive at Mahé, you will need to rent a car at the ferry terminal. Follow the signs for car rentals at the terminal. After you have your vehicle, head towards the capital city, Victoria.

• Driving Directions

  From the Victoria ferry terminal, you will want to follow the directions to Mount Fleuri Road. Get on the main road (Route Royale) from the terminal and drive along the coast for approximately 3.5 km until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Mont Fleuri Road. Continue straight for about 2 km, and you will find Katiolo located at coordinates 8G7H+WF7, Mount Fleuri Road, Victoria. Look for the distinctive entrance to the disco club.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, after arriving at Mahé from the ferry, you can take the local bus service from the ferry terminal. Look for bus routes heading towards Victoria. Once in Victoria, you can catch a taxi or a local bus that goes to Mount Fleuri Road. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at Katiolo, as it may not be a direct route.

• Taxi Services

  Alternatively, you can hire a taxi directly from the Mahé ferry terminal to Katiolo. This option may be more convenient if you have luggage or prefer a direct route. The taxi fare can vary, but expect to pay around SCR 500 to SCR 700 for the ride, depending on traffic and time of day.
