If you are driving from your location in Île au Cerf, head towards the main road that leads to the jetty at Île au Cerf. Once you reach the jetty, you will need to take a boat to the main island of Mahé. The boat ride typically costs around 25-30 SCR per person. Upon arriving at Mahé, drive towards Pointe Au Sel. You can follow the A3 road, which is well-signposted. The Takamaka Rum Distillery is located at Pointe Au Sel. Look for the signs directing you to the distillery, which is approximately a 30-minute drive from the jetty. There is parking available at the distillery.

Public Transportation
To reach Takamaka Rum Distillery via public transportation, first, take a boat from the jetty at Île au Cerf to Mahé. The boat fare is around 25-30 SCR. Once you are on Mahé, head to the nearest bus stop and catch a bus heading towards Anse aux Pins or Pointe Au Sel. The bus fare is approximately 7 SCR per person. Inform the bus driver that you are going to Pointe Au Sel, and they will let you know when to get off. From the bus stop, it’s a short walk to the distillery, which is well signposted.
