Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by heading south on the main road from any location in Île Thérèse. Follow the signs toward Port Launay Beach. You will pass several local shops and residential areas. Continue on the main road until you reach the junction for Cap Ternay Road. Turn right onto Cap Ternay Road and follow it until you see signs for Port Launay Beach. There is parking available near the beach area, but be aware that there may be a small parking fee.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Port Launay Beach using public transportation, you can take a local bus from the main bus terminal in Île Thérèse. Look for buses heading towards Port Launay or Cap Ternay. The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. After disembarking at the nearest stop, walk along Cap Ternay Road for about 10 minutes until you reach the beach entrance. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the return trip, as services may be limited in the evening.

• Walking or Cycling

  If you are staying nearby and prefer to walk or cycle, you can take a scenic route along the coastline. Starting from any point in Île Thérèse, head towards the beach area by following the coastal path. This route offers beautiful views of the ocean and is approximately 1-2 kilometers depending on your starting point. It may take around 30-40 minutes on foot or about 15 minutes by bicycle.
