Walking
From the main jetty in La Digue, start by heading straight towards the main road. Turn left onto the road and walk until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Anse Source d'Argent. Continue straight on this road for about 2 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and guesthouses along the way. Keep following the signs towards Grand Anse. As you approach Grand Anse, the road will become more secluded, with lush greenery on both sides. Shortly after, you will see a sign indicating Grand Anse beach. The beach will be on your left, and you can access it via a small path that leads down to the sand.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the shops near the jetty. Once you have your bike, exit the jetty area and head straight onto the main road. Turn left and cycle towards Anse Source d'Argent. After about 2 kilometers, you’ll reach a fork in the road. Take the right path that leads you to Grand Anse. The ride is scenic with beautiful views of the coastline. You should reach Grand Anse in about 15-20 minutes. Look for signs that point to the beach as you get closer.
Bus
While there is no direct bus service to Grand Anse, you can take a bus from La Digue's main bus stop towards the eastern part of the island. Board the bus and inform the driver you are headed to Grand Anse. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you reach the Grand Anse bus stop, disembark and follow the path leading to the beach, which will be clearly marked. It's a short walk from the bus stop to the beach entrance.
