Walking
From La Passe, the main village and ferry terminal, head south on the main road (L'Union Estate Road). Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a junction. At the junction, follow the signs pointing to Grand Anse Beach. You will see a small path leading you to the beach. This path will take you directly to Grand Anse Beach, which is known for its stunning scenery and lovely sand.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in La Passe. Start your journey by cycling along the main road (L'Union Estate Road) heading south. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will come to a fork in the road. Take the left path that leads you directly towards Grand Anse Beach. The ride is relatively easy and takes around 10-15 minutes, depending on your pace.
Horse Cart
For a unique experience, you can hire a horse cart (also known as a 'dokka') from La Passe. Inform the driver that you would like to go to Grand Anse Beach. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views along the way while being transported in a traditional style through the charming roads of La Digue.
