Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards the northwest of Mahé Island. From Victoria, take the Sans Souci Road (the main road) towards Glacis. Continue on this road until you reach the Bel Ombre area. Look for signs leading to Anse Major. Once you arrive at the parking area near the entrance, be prepared to pay an entry fee of 150 SCR per person via card payment only.
Public Transportation
To reach Anse Major via public transport, take a bus from Victoria to Bel Ombre. Buses to Bel Ombre run regularly, and you can catch one at the central bus station in Victoria. Once you arrive in Bel Ombre, you will need to walk the remaining distance to the viewpoint. Follow the signs directing you to Anse Major. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as the walk may involve some uphill paths. Again, note that there is a fee of 150 SCR per person for entry, payable by card only.
Walking
If you are already in the Bel Ombre area, you can walk to the viewpoint. Start at the nearest bus stop or parking area and follow the path leading to Anse Major. The trail can be steep and may take approximately 30-45 minutes to reach the viewpoint, so prepare accordingly with water and appropriate footwear. Remember that an entry fee of 150 SCR per person is required to access the viewpoint, payable by card only.
