Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, start from Victoria, the capital of Mahé Island. Head southeast on the main road (Route de La Liberté) towards Anse Royale. Continue along this road for about 20 minutes until you reach the junction with Route de L'Islette. Turn left onto Route de L'Islette and drive for about 10 minutes. Once you reach Quatre Bornes, look for signs directing you to Ros Sodyer / Rock Pool. The exact location is at the coordinates 6F9R+7VX, Quatre Bornes. There is no entrance fee for visiting this natural attraction.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Ros Sodyer / Rock Pool using public transportation, take a bus from Victoria to Anse Royale. Buses are frequent and the fare is around 7 SCR (Seychellois Rupees). After arriving at Anse Royale, transfer to a bus heading to Quatre Bornes. Upon reaching Quatre Bornes, you will need to walk approximately 10-15 minutes to the Rock Pool using the directions to 6F9R+7VX. Buses usually run until around 6 PM, so plan your trip accordingly.

• Walking

  If you're already in Quatre Bornes, you can walk to Ros Sodyer / Rock Pool from the town center. Head southwest on the main road and follow the signs toward the Rock Pool. The walk will take approximately 20-30 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
