If you are starting in the central area of Port Glaud, begin by heading towards the main road (Chem. Le Niol). From the central square, walk west along the main road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Chem. Le Niol. At this intersection, you will see signs pointing towards Beau Vallon. Turn left onto Chem. Le Niol and continue along this road for about 500 meters. You will notice a trailhead on your right, which marks the beginning of the Mare Aux Cochons Trail.

If you prefer public transport, start at the nearest bus stop in Port Glaud. Take bus number 21 or any bus heading towards Beau Vallon. Inform the driver that you are going to the Mare Aux Cochons Trail. The bus will drop you off at the Chem. Le Niol stop. From there, walk approximately 500 meters down Chem. Le Niol until you reach the trailhead on your right, which marks the entrance to the trail.
