Getting There

• Car

Once you reach Long, there is parking available nearby where you can safely leave your car.

• Public Bus

  To use public transportation, head to the nearest bus stop from your accommodation. Look for the bus heading towards Anse Volbert. The bus fare is usually around 7 SCR (Seychellois Rupees). The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you disembark at Anse Volbert, walk towards the beach area, and you should be able to spot pathways leading to Long. Make sure to ask the bus driver or locals for specific directions to Long if you're unsure.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct option, consider taking a taxi. You can arrange for a taxi through your hotel or hail one from the street. The fare to Long from most locations on Praslin Island should range between 200 to 400 SCR, depending on your starting point. The taxi ride will take about 20-25 minutes. Ensure you confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

• Walking

  For those staying close to Anse Volbert, walking to Long is a beautiful option. The beach walk is scenic and allows you to enjoy the local environment. From Anse Volbert beach, head towards the direction of Long, which is approximately a 15-20 minute walk along the sandy shore. Just be cautious of the tides and ensure you have adequate sun protection.
