Getting There

• Walking from Anse Lazio

  If you're starting from Anse Lazio, head southeast along the beach. Look for a trail that leads into the forest. Follow this path until you reach a fork in the trail. Take the right path, which will lead you uphill. Continue along this trail, which may be steep in some areas. Be sure to look for signs or markers that indicate you are heading towards Anse Major. After about 30-45 minutes of hiking, you will arrive at the viewpoint where you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding nature.

• Walking from Grand Anse

  Start at Grand Anse beach and head northwest along the shoreline. As you walk, keep an eye out for the trail entrance that leads into the hills. It’s about a 10-minute walk along the beach. Once you find the trail, begin your ascent through the lush vegetation. Follow the trail signs, which will direct you towards Anse Major. The hike will take approximately 1 hour, but the effort is rewarded with breathtaking views as you approach the viewpoint.

• Walking from Baie St. Anne

  From Baie St. Anne, make your way towards the nearby ferry terminal and take a boat taxi to Anse Major. Once you arrive, disembark and start your hike. Follow the beach path that leads to the trailhead. The trek will take you approximately 30-40 minutes through beautiful scenery. Stay on the marked trails as they will lead you directly to the viewpoint, providing panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding islands.
