Start your journey from the center of Victoria. Head south on Rue de l'Indépendance until you reach the intersection with the main road. Turn right onto the main road and continue heading east. Keep walking for about 1.5 km until you reach the bus station labeled 'Victoria Bus Station'. Here, you can take a local bus heading towards N.Y.S. Village. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride for approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at N.Y.S. Village, disembark at the nearest bus stop. From there, take a short walk towards the trailhead, which is located a few minutes away. Follow the signs directing you to the Salazie Trail.

From the Victoria Bus Station, look for buses that are heading towards N.Y.S. Village. The bus fare is quite affordable, usually around 5-10 SCR (Seychellois Rupees). Ensure you check the bus schedule, as they may not run frequently. Once you arrive at N.Y.S. Village, exit the bus and follow the trail signs which should lead you directly to Salazie Trail.
