From the center of Port Loko, head towards the main road (Kailahun Road). Walk northwest for about 15 minutes until you reach the junction at the end of the market area. At the junction, turn left onto the road leading to Rotifunk. Continue walking straight for approximately 6 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and small villages along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating the direction to Rotifunk. Once you reach Rotifunk, look for the Mathorie area. The Mathorie Retreat is located at 68FF+JGP, which is identifiable by its lush surroundings. Ask locals if you need additional directions, as they are usually very helpful.
