Start your journey from Tokeh Beach by heading north on the main road. Continue for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the junction for the Freetown Peninsula Highway (also known as the Western Area Highway). Turn left onto the highway and drive towards Freetown. Keep following the highway as it winds through the beautiful coastal area. Once you reach Freetown, navigate towards Tower Hill. You can use a GPS or a map app to find the exact location: FQM8+HCM, Freetown (Bastion des Fort Thornton). Look for parking areas nearby, as street parking may be limited.

Public Transportation
From Tokeh Beach, you can take a shared taxi (commonly referred to as 'poda poda' in Sierra Leone) heading towards Freetown. These taxis often leave from designated stops in Tokeh Beach. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at Tower Hill once you reach Freetown. From the drop-off point, it is advisable to either walk or take a short motorbike taxi (okada) to reach Bastion des Fort Thornton at FQM8+HCM. Be prepared to negotiate the fare with the motorbike taxi, which should be around 2,000-5,000 SLL.

Continue along the road for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the vicinity of Bastion des Fort Thornton.
