If you are traveling by car, start from Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone. Head south on the Lumley Road towards the Western Area Peninsula. Continue on this road until you reach the junction at the end of Lumley Beach. Take a left turn onto the Peninsula Road. Follow this road until you see signs for Bafa Resort, which is located at 1 Bailmore Banana Island. The resort can be accessed via a short ferry ride from the mainland. The ferry ride costs approximately 10,000 SLL per person. Ensure your vehicle can be accommodated on the ferry.

For those using public transportation, take a taxi or a 'poda poda' (shared minibus) from the central bus station in Freetown to Lumley Beach. From Lumley Beach, you will need to find a taxi that can take you to the ferry terminal. The taxi fare to the terminal is around 5,000 SLL. Once at the ferry terminal, purchase your ferry ticket to Bailmore Banana Island, which costs approximately 10,000 SLL. After a short ferry ride, you'll arrive at the resort.
