Walking
If you're in the Bugis area, head towards Bugis Junction. From there, walk to Bugis MRT Station and take the East West Line towards Pasir Ris. Alight at the next stop, which is Tanah Merah MRT Station. Once you exit the station, take Bus 3 or Bus 38 from the bus stop located right outside the station. Ride the bus until you reach the Johor Bahru checkpoint. After clearing immigration, you can either take a taxi or a bus to Johor Zoo, which is located at Jalan Gertak Merah, Taman Istana.

Start at Bugis MRT Station and take the East West Line towards Pasir Ris. Get off at the Tanah Merah MRT Station. After that, take Bus 3 or Bus 38 from the bus stop right outside the station. Stay on the bus until you reach the Johor Bahru checkpoint. Once you have passed through immigration, you can grab a taxi or take a local bus to Johor Zoo. It is located at Jalan Gertak Merah in Taman Istana.
