Getting There

  • Bus

    From Bukit Timah, walk to the nearest bus stop (e.g., Bukit Timah Road - Bt Timah Shopping Centre). Catch Bus 67 or 75 heading towards Orchard Road. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes, and get off at the 'Orchard Road - Orchard MRT' stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to The Istana along Orchard Road.

  • MRT (Mass Rapid Transit)

    Make your way to the nearest MRT station in Bukit Timah, which is the Botanic Gardens MRT Station. Take the Downtown Line towards Bukit Panjang and transfer at the Botanic Gardens Interchange to the Circle Line. Ride towards Dhoby Ghaut and alight at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station. From Dhoby Ghaut, transfer to the North-South Line towards Marina South Pier and alight at Orchard MRT Station. Exit the station and walk along Orchard Road for about 10 minutes to reach The Istana.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk, head towards Bukit Timah Road and follow it towards the junction with Dunearn Road. Continue straight until you reach the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve entrance. From there, follow the path down towards Bukit Timah Plaza. Once at the plaza, continue walking down Bukit Timah Road until you reach Orchard Road. The Istana will be directly ahead after about a 30-minute walk.
