If you are in the Central Business District, the easiest way to reach Aliwal Arts Centre is by taking the MRT (Mass Rapid Transit). Head to the nearest MRT station, which is 'City Hall MRT Station' on the East West Line (EWL) or North South Line (NSL). From City Hall, take the EWL (towards Pasir Ris) one stop to 'Bugis MRT Station'. At Bugis, transfer to the Downtown Line (DTL) and take it one stop to 'Bencoolen MRT Station'. Exit the station and head towards the junction of Bencoolen Street and Aliwal Street. Walk approximately 10 minutes along Aliwal Street, and you will arrive at Aliwal Arts Centre, located at 28 Aliwal Street. The total cost for the MRT ride will be around SGD 1.40.

Public Transportation (Bus)
Another option is to use the bus service. From any point in the Central Business District, locate the nearest bus stop. You can take Bus 7, 14, or 197, which frequently operate in the area. Board the bus and alight at the 'Aliwal Street' bus stop. From there, it is a short 2-minute walk to Aliwal Arts Centre, located at 28 Aliwal Street. The bus fare is approximately SGD 1.00, depending on your starting point.

If you prefer to drive, head towards North Bridge Road from the Central Business District. Use a navigation app to guide you to 28 Aliwal Street. Parking can be a challenge in the area; however, there are public parking facilities nearby, including at the nearby Bugis area or at the HDB car parks. Parking rates typically start from SGD 1.20 per hour. Once parked, it's a short walk of about 5 to 10 minutes to reach Aliwal Arts Centre.
