If you are in the heart of Chinatown, start at the Chinatown MRT Station (NE4). Exit the station and head towards Pagoda Street, known for its vibrant street markets. Walk straight down Pagoda Street until you reach the junction with Temple Street. Turn right onto Temple Street and continue walking until you see the Thian Hock Keng Temple on your left. From there, continue straight until you reach the end of the street, where it intersects with Telok Ayer Street. Once you reach Telok Ayer Street, turn left and walk along the street. You will soon arrive at Telok Ayer Green, where the Chinese Procession / Mid-Autumn Lantern Procession is located.

If you are near the Chinatown Heritage Centre, exit the centre and head towards the main road, South Bridge Road. Turn left onto South Bridge Road and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Telok Ayer Street. Turn right onto Telok Ayer Street, and continue walking. You will notice the vibrant atmosphere of Chinatown as you walk. Keep an eye out for Telok Ayer Green on your right side, where the Chinese Procession / Mid-Autumn Lantern Procession can be found.
