Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Chinatown MRT Station, exit the station and head towards Pagoda Street. Walk straight along Pagoda Street until you reach Smith Street. Turn left onto Smith Street and continue walking until you reach the junction with New Bridge Road. Cross New Bridge Road at the traffic lights to continue onto Upper Cross Street. Follow Upper Cross Street until you reach the junction with South Bridge Road. Turn right onto South Bridge Road and walk straight. You will eventually reach a large intersection. At the intersection, turn left onto Eu Tong Sen Street. Continue walking until you see the entrance to Clarke Quay MRT Station on your right. From there, follow the signs to exit the station and head towards the Singapore River. Continue walking along the river until you reach the bridge to cross over to the other side. Once across the bridge, head straight until you reach the junction with Serangoon Road. Turn left onto Serangoon Road and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will arrive at 37 Kerbau Road, where the Former House of Tan Teng Niah is located.
