Walking
From Chinatown, head towards the Chinatown MRT Station located at Pagoda Street. Once you arrive at the station, take the Downtown Line (blue line) towards Bukit Panjang. Get off at the next stop, which is Fort Canning Station. Exit the station and walk towards River Valley Road. Continue walking straight until you reach the Singapore River. Cross the river via the nearest bridge, and you will see the Marina Bay Sands in the distance. Follow the riverside path towards the Marina Bay area. As you approach, you will notice the Helix Bridge on your left side, which is a spiral-shaped pedestrian bridge leading you directly to Marina Bay.
Public Transport - Bus
From Chinatown, walk to the nearest bus stop at Chinatown Point. Take Bus 147 or Bus 75. After a short ride, get off at the bus stop named 'The Sail @ Marina Bay.' From there, walk towards Marina Boulevard, and you will see the Helix Bridge just a short distance away. Follow the signs to the bridge, which is easily accessible on foot.
Walking
From the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple in Chinatown, head east on Temple Street, then turn left onto South Bridge Road. Continue until you reach the junction with Clifford Pier. Take a right and walk along the waterfront towards the Marina Bay area. Keep walking along the waterfront until you see the Helix Bridge on your left. The walk is scenic and offers great views of the Marina Bay Sands and surrounding architecture.
