  • Walking

    From the East Coast Park area, head towards the East Coast Parkway (ECP) and look for the nearest exit that leads to Marina Bay. Once you reach the ECP, follow the signs to the Marina Bay area. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with the Benjamin Sheares Bridge. Cross the bridge to get to the Central Area. After crossing, keep heading straight on Raffles Avenue until you reach the Esplanade. From there, take a right turn onto Nicoll Highway and continue walking until you reach the Singapore River. Boat Quay will be on your left. Look for Bonham Street; Boat Quay is a vibrant area known for its dining and nightlife.

    If you're cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike rental stations in East Coast Park. Head towards the East Coast Parkway (ECP) and follow the cycling path that leads to the Marina Bay area. As you approach the Marina Bay Sands, continue on the path along the waterfront. Pass the Merlion Park and follow the path that leads you along the Singapore River. You will eventually see Boat Quay on your left. Look out for Bonham Street, which is part of the Boat Quay area.

    To reach Boat Quay using public transport, make your way to the nearest bus stop within East Coast Park. Take bus number 36 towards the city. After about 30 minutes, alight at the 'Raffles Place' bus stop. From there, walk towards Raffles Place MRT station. Take the MRT on the Downtown Line towards Bukit Panjang and alight at 'Chinatown' station. Exit the station and walk towards the Singapore River; Boat Quay is a short 10-minute walk from there. Follow the riverbank, and you will find Bonham Street in the heart of Boat Quay.
