Walking
From the nearest East Coast Park entry point, head towards the East Coast Parkway (ECP) and follow the park's pathway. Walk towards the exit of the park heading northwest. After approximately 1.5 km, you will reach the Marine Parade MRT Station. From there, take the MRT towards Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station (with a transfer at Expo MRT Station). After about 25 minutes, alight at Dhoby Ghaut and follow the signs to the North-South Line. Once you are at the Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station, follow the signs for exit B to get to Orchard Road. Walk along Orchard Road until you reach the intersection with Waterloo Street.

From East Coast Park, locate the nearest bus stop (East Coast Parkway). Take bus number 36 or 43 towards the city. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes and alight at the bus stop near the National Museum of Singapore. From there, walk towards Bras Basah Road, then turn left onto Waterloo Street. Continue walking straight until you reach Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple at 178 Waterloo St.

If you are renting a bicycle at East Coast Park, start from the park's bike rental area. Cycle along the park's dedicated bike paths heading towards the exit of East Coast Park. Once you exit the park, continue straight to reach Marine Parade Road. Follow Marine Parade Road northwest until you reach the intersection with Orchard Road. Turn left onto Orchard Road, then right onto Waterloo Street. Cycle until you reach Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple.
