Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Kampong Glam, head southeast on North Bridge Road and take the exit to Marina Boulevard. Follow Marina Boulevard until you reach the Esplanade Drive. You will see The Helix Bridge on your left as you approach the Marina Bay area. There are several parking options available nearby, including the Marina Bay Sands parking and the Esplanade parking. Parking fees are applicable, typically around SGD 1.20 to SGD 3.00 per hour.

• Public Transportation (MRT)

  From Kampong Glam, walk to the nearest MRT station, Bugis MRT Station (East West Line or Downtown Line). Take the East West Line towards Pasir Ris and alight at the City Hall MRT Station. Transfer to the North South Line and head towards Marina South Pier. Alight at the Marina Bay MRT Station. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to The Helix Bridge. Follow the signs for Marina Bay Sands and you will find the bridge easily. The total cost for the MRT ride should be about SGD 1.50.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  You can also take a bus from Kampong Glam to The Helix Bridge. Look for bus stops along North Bridge Road. Take bus number 61, 63, or 80, and alight at the bus stop at Marina Bay Sands. From the bus stop, it is a short 5-minute walk to The Helix Bridge. The bus fare is approximately SGD 1.50 for a single trip.

• Walking

  If you prefer walking and are staying close to Kampong Glam, you can walk to The Helix Bridge. Head south on North Bridge Road and continue straight until you reach the Marina Bay area. The walk will take about 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace. This route offers a scenic view of the city as you approach the Marina Bay area.
