Getting There

  • Car

    To reach Chek Jawa Wetlands by car, start your journey from any location in the Northeast Region. Navigate towards the East Coast Parkway (ECP) and head towards Changi. Take the exit towards Changi Village and continue on Changi Village Road. Follow the road signs to Pulau Ubin Ferry Terminal. Park your car at the designated parking area near the terminal. Note that parking fees apply, which are approximately SGD 7 per day. After parking, take a ferry from the terminal to Pulau Ubin. The ferry ride costs about SGD 3 per person (one way) and operates only when there are sufficient passengers (typically 12). The ferry ride takes about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at Pulau Ubin, you can rent a bicycle or take a bus to Chek Jawa Wetlands, which is approximately a 15-20 minute ride away.

    If you're using public transportation, take the MRT to Pasir Ris Station (East West Line). From there, transfer to Bus 2, which will take you to Changi Village.
